VSO Announces Leadership Promotions
At VSO we work to create an environment where people can take on new challenges, rising to meet new business needs and the opportunities that accompany them. As such, we are extremely proud to announce the following promotions within the leadership of the firm. They have exemplified our First Principles, earning the enduring trust of our clients, partners, and colleagues within the organization. These individuals have distinguished themselves through their respective achievements in their time with VSO, and their promotions are richly deserved.
Jennifer Dreisbach Promoted to Director of Finance
Each day here at VSO, we go about our business, tending to our various responsibilities, secure in the knowledge that all those things that need to happen in the background to keep the wheels of commerce humming along are just… happening. Of course, those things don’t just happen. They require vigilance, diligence, attention to detail. Tending to the finances of a diverse organization like ours is no small task, and yet each of us is able to focus on delighting our clients because we have Jen Dreisbach patrolling our finances.
It is important to step back and appreciate the challenges we have met and overcome as VSO has matured. We have a software product, with byzantine rules that we must follow regarding depreciation. We have a managed service, within which we are now reselling hardware and software. We have employees in 43 states. We have a growing variety of clients, partners, and contracts, each with its peculiarities that affect our finances. And perhaps worst of all, we have regular audits to endure, in order to keep our CEO from forced labor on a chain gang along I-81.
Because of all this, Jen cannot just yell “how much is it?” from the sidelines. She has a strong understanding not just of the finances, but also of the nature of what we do, in order to meet the financial requirements of running a successful business.
Jen has grown and developed her expertise as VSO has grown. She now manages a highly effective team making sure that payables and receivables, payroll and expenses, invoicing and bank accounts are all operating as they should. And she does all this while maintaining excellent working relationships with the VSO personnel she supports, taking an active interest in new teammates, and always making her colleagues feel welcome.

Nitsa Ferentinos Promoted to Vice President of Business Operations
It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Nitsa Ferentinos.
Nitsa has been with us since the beginning and has demonstrated leadership and dedication to the business and the people in her organization every step of the way. Nitsa has managed client relationships, strategic projects, and run delivery for VSO prior to her role in Business Operations where she is responsible for all delivery and business performance across the organization.
Anyone that works with Nitsa knows her dedication to her work, dedication to doing the right thing for people, and her dedication to growing herself and the business. She is quick to step in and help newcomers to the business and quick to coach other leaders in the VSO way. As someone that has helped to build this company from the ground up, it is my pleasure to see her fingerprints on so much of the business on a daily basis. Congratulations and more to come.
