[Manassas, VA] – December 7, 2023 – Today, Virtual Service Operations (VSO) is proud to announce for the third year in a row, we are partnering with the national nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) to support its mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve and their families, and Teach the next generation about the value of our freedom is carried out in communities all across the country. VSO is donating 400 wreaths this Christmas season in addition to our team members volunteering their time to lay wreaths on the tombstones of those lost before us.
Through this donation, VSO has committed to help WAA reach its goal of placing a live, balsam veteran’s wreath on headstones of our nation’s heroes at the following participating locations: Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA, and Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
“We encourage all of our employees, partners, and allies in the mission to take part in this great charity [Wreaths Across America], and let’s make this December 16th the largest wreath laying day in our country’s history,” encourages Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Steve O’Keefe from Quantico National Cemetery. “Not just for the sake of the charity, but for yourselves.
